“I’ve been working in property and financial services in the Canterbury area since 1974, and over the years that experience has given me a strong understanding of both the market and the people within it. Local knowledge really does matter in property, and it’s something I’ve built up and relied on throughout my career.

“Maintaining long-standing client relationships, while continuing to build new ones, is a big part of what I do and what I enjoy most.”

I gained my experience working for both a large corporate company and an independent local estate agent before deciding to go it alone in 1995. In 2014, following the relocation of the office, Gordon Miller Property Consultants was established. That journey has allowed me to shape a business built on trust, experience and practical decision-making.

Since joining the RedDoor Homes team, I’ve been able to make a real difference to our client relationships by combining that experience with strong local knowledge and a hands-on approach. On a day-to-day basis, I focus on creating successful solutions between landlords and tenants, as well as buyers and sellers. No two situations are ever the same, and I enjoy working closely with people to find the right outcome for everyone involved.

I take pride in sharing my experience and helping others learn, and I remain proactive in an ever-changing market. Property has been a constant throughout my working life, and it’s an industry I still feel genuinely passionate about.”
